Privacy note

The short, plain-English version. Last updated October 2026.

Who runs this

Ideas (ideas.mysticrealm.xyz) is a free, non-commercial hobby project run by one person in Australia. There are no ads and no trackers, and nothing is sold.

What I collect, and why

• Your request (title and description). For free tool ideas, these are shown publicly on the board once approved. Private "build it for me" requests are never shown publicly.
• Your name, email and phone (phone is optional). Used only to contact you about your request. These are never shown publicly, never shared, and never sold.
• No IP addresses are stored. To stop spam and to allow one vote per person, a scrambled, one-way code made from your connection is kept. It can't be turned back into your IP address. The spam-protection codes are deleted after 24 hours.
• One small cookie keeps the form secure and remembers which ideas you voted on. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

How it's protected

• The whole site uses HTTPS, so everything you send is encrypted on the way.
• Your contact details are stored encrypted. Even someone holding a copy of the database couldn't read them without a separate secret key.
• Only the site owner can see contact details, behind a password plus 2-step verification.
• The site runs on a private server in its own isolated container.

Your choices

• See or delete your data at any time using the private link you got after submitting. Deleting removes your request and contact details permanently.
• Lost your link? Submit a private request through the "build it just for me" form with the title "Delete my data", using the same email address, and it'll be removed.

How long I keep it

Until your request is done or declined and no longer needed, or until you delete it, whichever comes first.

Donations

The "Buy me a coffee" button goes to a separate donation service. Anything you enter there is handled by that service under its own privacy policy, not by this site.
